Assistant Professor of Practical Theology
日本一本道a不卡免费Chicago Theological Seminary invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Practical Theology to begin July 1, 2020. We have special interests in spiritual formation, pastoral counseling, chaplaincy studies, and contextual theological education. The PhD or equivalent is required. Demonstrated competency in online teaching and learning is also required. Knowledge of ministerial praxis and commitment to interreligious engagement are desirable. Applications from scholars dedicated to social justice with analytical strengths in human trafficking, trauma and resilience, mass incarceration and genocide, ritual studies, and intergenerational cultural studies are encouraged. Applicants should share the seminary’s historic commitments to the care of persons, and be able to teach in all of our degree programs (MA, MDiv., STM, DMin., PhD) with several concentrations. The successful candidate will have a scholarly trajectory and be committed to developing a professional profile that includes publication.
